Joyeux Lundi de Paques,

Notre prochaine messe aura lieu Dimanche prochain a 10h30.

BRIEF TRANSLATION:

– Our next mass is scheduled for this coming Monday at Cistercian at 10.30am. Your help to organize the event is always welcomed. It can be on a variety of activities as listed in the message above…A special note for financial support since we are no longer meeting our goals with the collection.

– An Easter egg-hunt with a “pique-nique” is scheduled to follow Mass. However, the weather forecast is such that we may have to forego once again (same happened last year). We will circulate a final decision at the end of the week on this wonderful and much awaited tradition.

– Next mass in May (5/27) will be very special with 10 children doing their first communion. The preparations are on-going with a special week-end early May organized for them and their parents. Please plan on attending this memorable event….

– POTLUCK still scheduled for Friday May 25…A must attend! We are counting on your presence and your culinary talents

– A special comment about Father Bernard. Yes, he had his birthday earlier this month. And yes, he is about to close a tremendous achievement of many decades of teaching at Cistercian by graduating his last class on May 19. And yes, he is very ready to head back to Europe this summer. Any donations to support his summer trip are very welcomed. Please forward to me at mass or by mail. A receipt will be returned.

– Finally, the presidential elections are nearing in France. Guy asked that the enclosed message be circulated. It has to do with the selection of the most appropriate candidate in the light of the church teachings.

Once again, Happy Easter.

Looking to the joy of being together again next Sunday,

Philippe/Sabine
